WHY THIS JOB IS IMPORTANT
Nuvola offers services to more than 1k Italian schools and hence more than 1M users use iteveryday. We already run on a well structured infrastructure on AWS, designed to be scalable, secure and distrubuted.
We want to keep improving and build our next-generation infrastructure with some goals in mind: elasticity, automation, automatic healing and scalability also for data storage and more complex services to scale. In the next years we’ll seriously face big data issue and machine learning tackles.
WHAT YOU’LL LEARN ON THE JOB
Madisoft has a small but very talented team and this is for you the best to learn from high-skilled people. You’ll work, from wherever you like, with others and, thanks to adhering to agile practices on a daily basis, you’ll learn a lot.
You will continue to learn and work in production with cutting edge technologies, keeping up with the high pace of our industry without feeling stuck on old and boring stuff.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
You will be asked to help us evolve our current infrastructure, monitor the systems, and quickly act in case of issues in production.
You also will be asked to organize your time, plan your work, and respect deadlines
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a passionate engineer, curious and willing to learn always something new.
- Strong obsession to automate everything
- Solid knowledge of linux based systems
- Knowledge of AWS services such us EC2, RDS, S3, Lamba, …
- Ability to work in a team adopting agile methodologies
- That you live in an European country
- Knowledge of Ansible
- Knowledge of Python
